Our journey to Servants Heart Farm

Discover the story behind Servants Heart Farm, our mission to support veterans, and how our farm-fresh products contribute to rebuilding lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Our founding vision: Rebuild, restart, reclaim

Servant’s Heart Farm grew out of our work with people experiencing homelessness, where we recognized that many veterans needed more than temporary shelter. We met veterans carrying the effects of trauma, addiction, isolation, unemployment, and the difficult transition back into civilian life. They often received short-term assistance, but not enough time, structure, or personal support to build lasting stability.

The farm gave us an opportunity to create something different: a peaceful, working environment where veterans could have safe, supportive housing while rebuilding daily routines, practical skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Caring for animals, growing food, maintaining the property, and working alongside others provide visible reminders that steady effort can produce meaningful results.

That vision became the foundation of Rebuild, Restart, and Reclaim:

  • Rebuild physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial stability.
  • Restart life with healthy routines, recovery support.
  • Reclaim helps veterans take ownership of their future.

Farm fresh products with a purpose

What makes Servant’s Heart Farm special is that every product has a purpose. Our fresh eggs, local honey, and seasonal produce are raised and grown with care, using practical and responsible farming methods.

When customers support the farm, they receive wholesome, locally produced food while helping veterans rebuild their lives through our 3Rs Program—Rebuild, Restart, and Reclaim. The farm provides veterans with supportive housing, meaningful work, job skills, daily structure, mentorship, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Our products do more than nourish families—they help create second chances. Every dozen eggs, jar of honey, and basket of produce supports a veteran’s journey toward stability, confidence, and independence.

Inspiring change and building community

We hope visitors leave Servant’s Heart Farm feeling welcomed, inspired, and confident that real change is possible. We want them to understand that the farm is more than a place that produces fresh eggs, honey, and produce—it is a place where veterans can rebuild their lives through meaningful work, supportive housing, mentorship, faith, accountability, and community.

Most importantly, we want visitors to recognize that dignity is non-negotiable and that every person deserves the opportunity for a fresh start. When someone supports the farm, they are not simply buying a local product; they are helping a veteran Rebuild, Restart, and Reclaim a life of purpose and independence.

"Servant's Heart Farm has created a truly remarkable place where veterans can find healing, purpose, and a supportive community. Their commitment to giving second chances is inspiring."
